New catalytic converter?

Itīs possible that my catalytic converter has to be replaced because of some damage in it. My question is if it would be better to get an OEM one or a high-flow one (exhaust system is and will stay stock!!!)??
Thanx in advance!

do you have emissions regulations in germany?

If not, a high-flow, or even a off-road pipe would be nice

Yea, we have really strict emissions regulations over here but there is a brand called "Unikat" which offers street-legal high-flow cats so thsi would be the way to go for me.

The older they get, the more clogged and cinstrictive they get, kinda like your colon. Anyways, as they get clogged, they also start to hold a lot of heat, and can kill O2 sensors, or throw off O2 readings, making your car run even crappier. If at all possible, screw the cat, hell, we're all gonna be running alternative fuels soon anyways, better have fun while you can.
