87 cellica need conv. top assembly + pump

how u doing im al i own an 87 cellica gt-s convertible the pump went and the top wouldnt go up during a rain storm released pressure in the line still wouldnt go up so i tried with all my might and snaped the side arm from the its swivell bearing so im looking to pretty much replace the whole top.. but toyota wants 4grand for it all.. (more then what the cars worth..) anybody see any cheeper way of doing this? i looked into having it welded but since its aluminum magnesium potmetal mix.. it wouldnt work it would just catch fire.. iv tried almost every junk yard in the entire new england area.. im kind of at witts end..
