Entering the codes to unlock the radio

I have a 2000 Grand AM SE and the radio is locked but i have the code to unlock..
HOWEVER..

I've been digging the forum for about an hour but i couldn't managed to find how to enter the unlock codes into the radio..

somebody, please, can tell me how u enter the numbers 0, 7, and 9.

Unlocking the theft deterrent Feature...
enter the code pausing no more then 15 seconds between steps.
- LOC appears when ignition is on.
- Press MIN and 000 will appear on the display.
- Press MIN again to make the last two digits match with your code.
- Press the HR to make the firt one or two digits match your code
- Press the AM-FM after you have confirmed that the codes matches the secret code you have writen down.
The display should show SEC, indicating that the radio is now operatable and secure.

Also if you enter the wrong code eight times INOP woll appear on the display. You will have to wait an hour with the ignition on before you can try again.
When you try again you will only have three more chances(8 per chance) to enter the code.

If you lose or forget your code contact the stealership.
