Hi all,
Got new tires on the 1999 323i sedan a couple of weeks ago. Looking at the tires, they looked really low, so I took a pressure reading and it was pretty close to the F:29 R:33 pressure the tire store filled them up to. That looks pretty low to me. The door jamb says like F:33 and R:44 for a 205/55R16 91V. We have 205/55R16 91H. The door jamb pressures were for a max loaded car I think.
Any clues as to what I should set these tires to?
They are Continental ContiProContact P205/55R16 91H BSW.
Thanks,
GT

Look at the door jamb again. It should say the recommended pressure for up to 4 passengers. My guess would be F:30 R:35 psi.

Wanted to bring up this old thread again.
I've been keeping the tires at F:29 R:33 which is what the tire store filled them up to when we bought them.
Should I be using a different pressure? Should I go with what the door jamb says or what the store used?
Thanks,
