Started her up this morning, and the dash brake light came on, with no power to clock/radio. Drove it to the corner, then I stopped it and restarted. Started right up, with no dash brake light and clock/radio fine. Wanted to stall after I put it in drive, but then was fine once I started off.
One time this winter it didn't start; NO turn over but all electrical was working. Next day all was great, started right up. Shop had it for a week but couldn't find anything because they couldn't get it to act up.
Are these two probs related? Ideas???
Thanks....

Welcome to the forum!
The problems could be related. Search this forum using the "Search this forum" link from the Taurus main page for the keywords "transmission range." There have been some pretty interesting electrical problems caused by a defective Digital Transmission Range Switch.
Also, make sure the battery cables are clean and tight. Not just in appearance, but remove them from the battery and make sure the actual connection is clean. If you have some of the bolt-on "temporary" battery cable ends, replace the cable with a molded OEM-style battery cable.
