98 Accord Key Remote Problems
I have 2 original remotes. In the past I had minor problems with them. Having to push buttons a few times to work but recently they stopped working about 90% of the time. One had some very tiny green spots of corrosion on the inside, so i switched to the other one. It is doing the same thing. Had the remote battery checked at wal-mart jewelry and the girl said it was ok. I looked and it was registering well charged if she had it set correctly. Battery is about a year old. I do go to the gulf of mexico a lot so salt air does get on it but never dropped in the water. Is there a test or a way to re-set them or is it possible they both are going bad at same time??
Or is there a part in the car going bad?
Thank you in advance.

One of my remotes does not work right as well. Friend of mine suggested to resolder all the joints. I even bought a soldering gun for 3 dollars at Fry's but never got to do it.
You may try it. What do you have to loose?

But both of my remotes stopped working. They were working on and off, but now they have stopped completely. Is there a part, fuse or ? in the car that could of gone bad and a way to test it?
