8" kickpods

I want to build some 8" kickpods for my 99accord sedan...

I consider myself a sh?t hot electrician, but not the greatest fabricator, so I'm looking for any advice, tips, or tricks-ott from any craftsmen out there...
My plans is to throw out the two-way xover that came with my infinity components and design a three-way xover to go with those components and the
8" pods that I want to add...

My first question is, "How ambitious is this project (8" kickpods)?" I have the chee$e to pay for a professional job, but I also have a bunch of tools and
every weekend off...so I'm feeling like doing this project myself, any advice...??

I already customized my doors with some gucci material and all that jazz.
If I was to go that route, I would have to pay to have them installed in the
doors the right way, (defeating my purpose), plus the pods are easier to do-over/replace.

I am gonna end up doing the same in my contest car, I am gonna AP some 8" midbass' into the kick panel area. I will tell you how hard it is when I finally get to it.

alright cool,
that's what's up...
I want to use the infinity 8's since I'm already running Infinity 2ways and make it a true Infinity 3way
It's just that damn mounting depth...

there are no T/S parameters on thoe drives ... at least not on the links

only certain speakers work in AP enclosures

I'm starting to think about putting (4) zr800's in the rear deck with my 300/4 powering them I saw them on the new products page and called jl,
they said they'll be ready to take orders next quarter and, as far as those shallow mounts, I can't stop thinking about the possibilities...
maybe I'll put one in the back of the center console facing the back seats or 2 in the front of the console angled towards the front doors
I want to show 'em of in odd locations, (function following form), but all the while, sacrificing almost none of it's functionality...

you may come to find that simple is best ....... most of the best sounding systems have 5-8 speakers (2 tweets, 2 mids somewhere in the kicks, dash or a-pillar; sometimes 2 midbass in the kicks or doors; 1 or 2 subs in the back, the fronts doors, the center console or even the dash).

I Want It To Be Flashy, But Not Extreme...maybe A Notch Or Two Down From Extreme But Still On The Showy Side...
