Hood Removal

Tragically, my ride was taken from me in a completely unceremonious manner; some idiot decided he would test the crash test ratings of his _rental_ car into the back of my venerable 92 lesabre. The guy didn't even know what an air bag was...who lets these idiots on the road?
After all was said and done, my ride was declared totaled, but that just means it's time to start working on her. There is no visible engine damage, just some severe cosmetic damage.....I mean, I drove her home from the accident.
Anyhow, I managed to pry the hood up, but the hood is now stuck up as the impact bent it horribly. What is the best way to take the hood off?
