reminiscing over the past...

Sorry I missed the meet at chik-fil-a sunday.. I really wanted to go but I promised some people i'd watch the ravens game with them, and didn't realize what time that was going to be on. anyway, now that I am going to be working on my crx to get it running again, it fugures that it gets dark before I even get off work. That would be fine if I had a garage, but I don't. I would love to do it at my work, but we have so many cars here there is no room to keep my little crx anywhere. Guess I will find some way to do it.. but I was just looking over some old pictures, and I miss driving my crx so much.. my civic is nice and all, but it is no crx.. Just figured i'd put some old pictures up for people that haven't seen it before.. I also forgot about my whole custom seat in the back, that was a pretty cool deal there. Anyway, here are some pictures for those of you bored like I am.. :) I miss driving up to PA and hanging out with everyone.. hopefully by spring, the car will be all ready and turbocharged once again(for more then a few weeks this time.. and running well.. :) )

How the hell did you get 2 headunits in there? Thats pretty sick man, I also am digging the backseat. I think I need to post an evolution thread.

If it didn't cost to much and its easy to do then hell I want a CRX instead!!

Actually putting the 2 head units in was very easy.. I had the tape player then bought the cd player.. but I listen to tons of hiphop mixtapes, so I wanted to listen to tapes as well, so I just made a new spot for it.. it only took about 20 minutes to do, and looked VERY clean.. a lot of people liked it.. the backseat was very easy as well, this was the support for the backseat.. http://fushun.hypermart.net/crx/support.jpg

If it isnt too big a pain in the ass I would greatly appreciate it. I love the CRX but haven't considered buying it anymore because of the lack of a rear seat, but now there is a chance!

I really really really really want to know how you did the rear seats, that's so badass!!!

whats up man.. 19 tickets?? I see you know have too many to list them all.. :) I have you beat for getting pulled over i'm sure though.. i've got to be going on like 50+ times, but I talked my way out of all but FOUR tickets.. :) suprisingly though I haven't been pulled over in the civic yet.

Jason, those days were the best.. going to the philly street races.. meeting up with your girl.. remember that?? hahah.. then leaving your apartment and finding out the next day civic #1 was gone.. :( I want to go up there one weekend next spring or something.. do people still streetrace like they used to?

I will write up a little article on the backseat... it was very easy to do.. actually I think I still have mine, I don't know if i'm going to use it again.. so once I get my car running, IF I don't use it, i'll give it to someone.. :)

i want a crx to play around with, i love the hatch but i still want a rex to play with, the backseat is very nice and you could put a flipout tv in one of those spots instead of another head unit

hahahahaha.. what's nelson been up to? I remember when I blew a tire out and had my crx gutted(no spare tire) on the way up there and he drove an hour down 95 to give me another wheel with a tire.. :)

..I got no idea what he's up to..he never returned my PM on honda-tech....and I dont think I've talked to him since that show last year where I traded him that front mount intake...haha...

hahaha.. that frount mount intake was the shit!! not only did it look like a intercooler, it provided colder air, and sounded like a turbo spooling up. :rolleyes: :D he was obssessed with that thing.. hahaha

I think I've got the video from that weak weak first PH meet we had way back when in Cherry Hill..I'll have to upload it if I can find it so we can all have a good laugh :)
