92 LeSabre stalling, erratic idle

I've been working on a friends 92 LeSabre. It idles weird and will stall out when it gets warmed up but it always restarts right away. I unplugged the IAC motor and it seems to idle better. I got four codes but I'm pretty sure I caused one of them when I unplugged the MAF. Codes, 21, 22, 34 and 44. Could I have caused the 21 and 22 codes while testing the TPS with the key on? TPS seemed fine with a volt meter check. The code 44 shouldn't cause stalling, I would think. The driver of the car says it dies mostly when coming to a stop and when shifting to park or neutral after driving.

Code 44 info:
http://www.misterfixit.com/code44.htm

The messing with the MAF probably caused the code 34 (but to test, clear codes by unplugging the computer's fuse, or by unhooking the car's battery for a minute or so, and then drive the car until it is warmed up and check for codes again).

The messing with the TPS might have caused the codes 21 and 22 also. Again, reset and run the car to check.

It could be many things. You might have a transmission converter lock up problem, a ground lobe on your camshaft (do a compression check on this engine--it will tell you much about what condition the engine is in), a valve that is broken or sticky, an engine that is mucked up with goop or carbon, a fuel pump or fuel filter that need replacing, spark plugs that are fouled, plug wires that are weak, etc. etc.

Ok, cleared the codes, had her drive it and the code 44 came back all by itself. O2 sensor lean or something. I wouldn't think that an o2 sensor could cause these problems but if I'm wrong, please tell me.

I would replace the o2 sensor and take it from there.

Ok,an o2 sensor is only 20 bones and it couldn't hurt to replace it as a maintenance thing anyway.
