i own a 1986 chevy k10 saddly with a v6 4.3L ran okay although it has a zillion problems, but my question is...........
What causes white smoke to blow out of the Oil Breather Hose Consistantly?
Even At idle. it spits oil onto my airfilter etc ( the hose runs up to it )
another thought was pull it off and let it be, but it blows White smoke like when Sea foam smokes out of the back of a car/truck.
So i was wondering if anybody could awnser why it does it or what could of caused it?
And is there a aftermarket Breathercap i can put on? i was looking at breather caps online but didnt seem to have any luck finding 1 that would fit my v6 4.3L i was hoping maybe a turboedtyphoon nut or sombody might be able to help me? direct me where to go to get a breather cap? ( from what ive read a breather cap for a SBC will not fit :screwy:
Thanks to any 1 whom maybe be able to help in advance

My guess would be one or more of the following:
*Cracked cylinder head or block.
*Blown intake manifold gasket.
*Warped cylinder head
*Blown cylinder head gasket
The white smoke is likely steam/smoke from a coolant leak into the engine from somewhere.
