No Spark at Coil Pack...97 Olds 3.8

Not getting any spark from the coils. Engine turns over but no spark. Engine had been running a bit rough so a friend replaced the coils with used one's and then there was no spark at all. Put the old one's back but didn't do any good. Any ideas? Really need to get this car running as we live 25 miles out of town. Thank you for any advice.

Check the connector at the icm, check the wires from the crank sensor to the icm, if good you may have a bad icm or crank sensor, without diagnostic tools on hand this will all be guess work.
