I am friends with the crew of IMV Films by relation of being in the local car club that these guys came from and are members of.
We as a car club all had input on these shirts and pretty much all wear them on a regular basis. I can't stand traffic cops after the relentless hassle they give us on any given night. Somehow, six of them can sit across the street from our local meets to write tickets for burnouts, but they won't sit a couple across the street from the bars to keep the drunks off the street. So we basically had it with the local traffic force and came up with these shirts, along with a new video that should be released very soon.

These shirts kick ass... A small group of us actually wore them into the courthouse to pay a traffic ticket..

Ha.. yeah, like that won't get you outta a ticket.
How about not doing burnouts to attract the attention in the first place? ;)
In all the groups I've been with, the guy who did the burnouts and donuts was always kicked out of the group for making the noise and bringing the cops in when the rest of us were just hanging out. If you need to do the macho burnouts and donuts go do it elsewhere... party poopers.

Amen to that! Kick them out of the club! If you cant have fun because of them they need to leave.
I live in a college town and we have ordinence officers. Mostly they go around giving parking tickets for parking on or too far away from the sidewalk but hardly every give a ticket for something that needs to be done. We have a law about not parking on the streets at night in the winter incase it snows. They wont ticket apartment complexes that give out more parking permits then they have spaces which forces people to park on the streets at night which gets them the ticket! It's a vishous cycle.
And Josh, I cant do burnouts eather.

Actually, I'm more of a fan of the cops doing what our tax dollars pay for. While psycos roam the streets kidnapping people from Wal Mart and murdering them in a field and rapists walk around stalking targets, a bunch of fat lazy pricks who couldn't manage to get into any thing decently resembling higher education sit around and find people who are causing no threat to the general public and just hanging out and having a good time sans narcotics/booze/serious crime, and ticket them because they are to fucking lazy to go after REAL criminals.
Fuck the police. This is why I'm a strong supporter of concealed carry, and actively persue that right. Cops are to busy getting an easy pay check doing dick shit, and I've resigned myself to the fact that the only person I currently trust to protect myself is indeed myself.

I find the reasoning in your post to contain some cognitive dissonance under closer scrutiny. You do not mind traffic cops because they are just doing their job. However you say parking cops can go to hell......but arent they just doing their job?

I'm not sure what it is about them... but they piss me off. Friggin street sweeping!

I hate parking cops and their little tickets of insanity. I don't care if it is their job. Moving on,
Here's the things to worry about around traffic cops:
-If you were speeding 10 mph over the limit
-If you are drinking or are taking a controlled substance
-the cop is looking for anything wrong to nab you, a broken mirror, an expired inspection, or something he wants to make up.
As long they do their job, and don't abuse their power, I'm okay with it. If they're abusing their power, then they belong with the parking cops in hell. If you are reading this, you're a cop and you think I'm stereotyping you, yes, I'm stereotyping you.

I don't hate traffic cops, probably because I have yet to run into any problems with them. However, that could turn around in a hurry with a ticket.
I can't do burnouts :frown:
I can't do burnouts either, except mine isn't because of something cool like AWD, I just drive a truck with 130 hp and a Traction-Lok rear :banghead: Can't get the taurus motor to smoke the tires :disappoin

I hate as much as anybody when cops come hassle you for small stuff. But it's only small stuff because people like us consider it small. The fact that it is illegal means enough people think it's disruptive to society to make it so.
The cops that are patrolling the streets target people who do burnouts etc because the cops hate them. And why shouldn't they? From their experience, these are the ones who are young, think they know everything, and batantly have no regard for the law. The cops are just doing their job and appreciate some level of respect when carrying it out.
Most people hate traffic cops because this is the area of law they break on a regular basis. You don't see people going, "damn I hate homicide/vice cops, they hassle me on a daily basis. I was ONLY carrying ONE tablet of ecstacy, that's nothing!". Oh wait...yes you do...and they're all drug dealers/murderers.
If you hate traffic cops, it's because you break traffic laws. It's as simple as that. You probably don't think they're serious breaches - hell, even the cops don't think it's a serious threat to public safety. But the law states it is, and it's their job to enforce it.
Don't hate the player, hate the game. If you think traffic laws are too tough, go lobby your politicians.

Not sure how it is the US but here, it is blatently clear where you can and can't park. If you get a ticket, 90% of the time, it is because you are parked illegally. Now chicken shit or not; illegal is illegal.

Okay to the poster, you have it easy, we get tickets just for going to any car meet now that they changed the laws here in miami. The ticket will say "Intent to race" Now that is bull shit.
Also traffic cops here in miami 85% of the time abuse their power. When I had my celica and the transmission was messing up, the car accelerated on it's own, and I mean a burst of speed, and it happened right infront of a cop. I was originally doing 45 but when that burst happened it shot me up past 65 cause I was going on a down hill. When It happened I had moved over to the right lane so I could pull over and that is when the cop came behind me. I was basically stopped anyways as I pulled over and the cop wrote me up for speeding in a 40, weaving through traffic, tailgating, and he slapped a reckless driving marker on it. In florida reckless driving you get 90 days in jail. I took it to court with proof that my transmission messed up and that I got it repaired. The state attourney asked why it took me so long to repair it and i told her to look at the bill for $750 to repair it and on top of that I had to higher a lawyer for $800. So I won the case cause the judge even told the cop and everyone else that there was too much evidence saying I was innocent of the charges the cop put minus the speeding and that what happens sounds more like careless driving instead of reckless driving but since i wasnt being charged for careless that I was free to go with no points on my record and the case doesnt show up either.
So I hate cops like that who steriotype. Cause he saw me and was like "Kid in a sports car = jail" Dumbass, this kid knows his crap enough to not go to jail for false accusations.

When I walked into the court room he had a face on like, you're going to jail" but when I won the case his face looks like he took a shit. Also on my way to work after the courtroom I was followed by about 6 or 7 cops. Can you be more obvious?:screwy:

I have a good one for my buddys I just rememberd. He lives just off a street of a High school. The speed limit is 35 and he knows that and goes that because cops are always on it to catch high school students. He was on his way to work driving down it and a cop pulled him over for speeding. Told him to wait there for another cop because he just got a distress call to another location. Didn't tell him what he was pulled over for, just hopped in his car and took off. My budy knows the cop had his licence plate number so he didn't take off and another cop showed up in just 5 minutes. Gave him a ticket for going 75 in a 35! I know he wasn't going that fast, he knows better expecially on that street!
What makes this story even better is about 2 weeks later I was talking to another guy I work with lives just past the school and drives the same road the other guy got pulled over on. He was relating the ticket he had recieved the day prior. EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED TO HIM! Same story happened the same way. They both knew better and were going the speed limit when they got pulled over.
Something smells fishy to me.

finally someone who doesn't just whinge and does something about it.
The courts are there for a reason i.e. to put a cap on executive power.
The more people who do this the more cops will think twice about giving out bullshit tickets.

Man, I just got a ticket, 78 in a 60, on Interstate-26. Pulled by a State Trooper, second time. What sucks is that I was following an Ion going 80, we both saw the cop and both slowed down, but I guess I didn't slow down enough or fast enough. $180, court isn't until August 2nd though, I hope it gets lowered.
My first ticket was on Highway 17 going 73 in a 50, it was at the end of a passing lane though, thats why I was speeding so I didn't get stuck behind a slow car. But I guess I was a danger to society and recieved what I deserved.
