I have a 2002 Kia Sportage that cylinder 1 is misfiring. I have changed the plugs, wiring and ignition coil. Works for day or two and then starts misfiring again. Any ideas on what's wrong? Is there a sensor for cylinder 1?

I'm having a misfiring problem with cylinder #3 on my '97 tracker, same thing, did plugs, wires, dist cap/rotor, runs ok for 9 - 10 miles, 1-2 days, then same problem again.......seems to be after it warms up a bit, then happens again, also check engine light comes on and latest thing is white milky substance on dip stick. please let me know if you find out solution......
