If you hear something or see a load in the electrics (lights dim slightly or whatever) it's pretty much a good bet the switch AND motor are probably good, and the window is physically jammed somehow...sometimes a regulator will break and make it stick...sometimes just tree sap or similar can get them stuck to the weatherstripping so bad it can't move, etc..trying cleaning around the window with warm water and soap if this seems likely.
Do you notice any attempt at movement, like the weatherstrip at the bottom of the window bending a bit when you push the button?
Many times just slamming the door while holding the button down will jar them loose and get it working again...
I assume it has the "auto down" feature on the driver's window...when you press the button fully do you hear the little secondary click after a second or two as the button releases?
