First I wanted to say I am new to car audio. So assume I know nothing.
Well I bought an 1000W Sony Xplod amp 2 Xplod 10's and a Pioneer 12' along with a generic capacitor from my friend for $150. I previously had a JVC head unit. When I went to test it, my amp and head unit will not work at the same time. I'm assuming that since they both work individually I have them wired up correctly? Any help would be great.
Ps. Yes i know sony sucks, but I figured they are better than nothing.

If the headunit isn't on then the amp is. But the second I turn the head unit on, the amp shuts off.
