I have a 10" kicker cvr in my car and a 1000 watt rockford amp powering it, I just got it a few weeks ago too. But sometimes the sub will stop working for a few seconds then start again, then die out until I turn my car off and on then it works again most of the time. I have no clue what could be wrong and im kinda worried cause I just got it..

do you have the dual 2ohm or dual 4ohm..?,
and which amp...??

sounds like a familiar problem of impedance mismatching
