Where is the vehicle control module(vcm) located on a 98 4.3 Blazer?

Right side engine compartment.
Look under the coolant overflow tank.
What is the problem or why are you looking for it?

VCM/PCM/computer - think MT meant behind the coolant tank - silver or black 4x6" box with lots of electrical connectors on rear side for 98up and easy to see sitting right there. Seldom a problem.

Thanks for the info, but the problem I had with this vehicle is now fixed.
