Yesterday i went out and ran some errands. I got home tried to roll up my windows and they got half way up and died. I checked the fuses they were find. Last week the back passenger windo died. Only the back drivers side will go up. I dont know what else to do. I never smelt anything like wires casing melting. Any ideas.

Can you roll up any of the windows with the switches that are in there own doors? If so, the problem is probably in the Main window switch with the 4 window controls on the Front drivers door. If none of the windows will roll up, you need to check to Power window relay in the fuse box.....Look at your owners manual for the location. The main switch is easy to remove from the door panel on these cars. 1st check to make sure all the wire connections are seated down good, then try and operate the windows with the switch out.....Ignition key has to be turned on to run to get power to the windows or the car started. lightly wiggle the wire connectors to see if you have a bad connection or not?......If your getting any of the windows to roll up and 1 or 2 wont, Your main switch is probably bad internally and needs to be replaced..... you can find these on E-Bay or online.....Or at a Junkyard.......Post back what you find out?
