Engine swap

Hey, does anyone know if its hard to take a series 2 3.8 SS engine and put it in my 2002 monte carlo that has a stock 3.4? im preety sure it will fit it has the same buld as the pontaic's but i dont know how hard the wireing would be any info would be helpful -thanks
