Recently finished this one. It's Fujimi 1/24 kit. Airbrushed Lamborghini Arancio Borealis Pearl using Model Colour Worx paint
My inspiration for this model was the 'SE' version - but basically I just painted it how I liked!
Had a few fitment problems, especially with the clear parts - had to 'open' the side windows to make it fit, but overall a nice model when completed.

Looks fantastic, I think I can see the fit problems you had judging by the way the front quarterlight window sits a bit proud of the doorline. You did really well to correct it. Why are the door mirrors so huge? presumably US safety regulations? In much the same way as the larger bumpers were needed for the US versions of European cars like Porsche 911's & the rubber bumper version of the MGB etc?

I saw this at a show in the UK two weeks ago - it's real sweet - paint looks even better in the flesh. Nice job Chris. You still need more motorsport on your table though!! :p

Thanks for all the comments guys! :)
Did you put photo etched brakes?
I didn't use any photo etched parts. If I was building another I would probably try the photo etch set - especially for the meshes. All mesh panels in this kit are clear parts, with a mesh pattern on them, painted smoke. I wasn't sure about this at first but it's actually not too bad. Proper mesh would probably be better though!
You still need more motorsport on your table though!!
Maybe one day I'll do another motorsport subject. I'm still recovering from the nightmare I had doing two BTCC Volvo 850's....:banghead:
