adding back seat?

is it possible to add a back seat to my 2 seater 86 300zx? i know where i can get one for this model but i dont know if i could put it in? there's a "storage compartment" that opens up behind the two front seats... would there be enough room for it? is it too much trouble than its worth? whats the difference in the models that come with a back seat and the ones that dont? thanks..

I could be wrong, but I believe there is a lot of difference in the bodies between the coupes (like you have) and the 2+2s (the ones with a backseat). I know that they differ enough that even the t-top sizes are incompatible. That makes me think that it would be difficult for it to be done such that everything fit right. It might be possible, but I would think it quite difficult.

It would be possible if you're willing to spend the money to have your car chopped up to fit a seat in. The 2 seater and 2+2 models are different by length. The 2+2 is about 8 inches longer, giving it the little extra space for the back seats.

Don't waist time or money. The only thing you would need the back seat for is girls.....and even then it would be a tight fit:hehe:
