My 1/3 of the Topless Trio and chronologically I think my 6th model.

The Fujimi Enthusiast kit was a blast to build and had great fun putting it together with my 2 buddies.

It's been finished and sitting in a box in the cellar for 6 months now waiting for one of the others (preferably both, but I am realistic :evillol:) to finish theirs. Andy finally made it across the line with his awesome 360 so I whacked off some photos this morning. Unfortunately, it seems she suffered a little in the meantime and some damage was done but that's life

Full build up can be found here (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=536897).

Thanks for looking and a big thanks to those who followed along during the WIP

Great work. I saw this coming watching your WIP. I especially like the paint job as well as your choice of color.
The only thing that I have a little problem with are the rims. They somehow donīt work with the model...
Congratulations on a great build. Do you have pictures with an open front bonnet so we can see the engine?

Superb Stevenski, simply superb. Although I can't help but think you are holding out on something - where are the engine pics? :)

Only your 6th model???
Now I'm having problems beliving that! :evillol:

I really liked it. It's really beautiful as everyone says. Wonderful Job.

RallyRider:...I can't help but think you are holding out on something - where are the engine pics?
Yes! wasn't this one where you used tiny tubing to make hood dampers? Why not showing the engine bay on the final shots? Please I'm dying out of curiosity. How did the engine bay look on the finished model?

Looks awesome klutz! How'd you get those little screws in the side lenses, are they PE pieces?

Hi Steve,

yes, as already mentioned, a fantastic model. However, engine pics ?????

What colour did you use on the body, metallic parts seem to be a little bit coarse, but those digi cams let them appear even bigger.

Holly... No way... This is too good to be a model! I can see that you have spent a great deal of work to make this model perfect. What a great looking result that you got going there.

If you ever decided to replace those stock wheels with th after market P/E "wire" wheels, I won't be able to tell if I am looking at an actual car or not~

Thanks Gents!

Well, you got me with the engine photos
To tell the truth, it was a quick shoot session and since the engine got a lot of my focus in the WIP, I figured that if anyone wanted to see it, there are better photos there

I've attached below a couple of photos from my failed session when I first finished the car last year (I hadn't got my new camera figured out the time) plus a shot from the WIP that shows the hinges in action - I hope that suffices :uhoh:

When you shoot the car in front you'll see the rims not the thread or it will seem a SUV buddy!....... I love the garden, the pines, the chairs, the grass, the open wide space... LOL!!!
Good point! :D Well, at least there isn't any p/e dust in the pictures :evillol:

How'd you get those little screws in the side lenses, are they PE pieces?
Yes, they are p/e screw heads from a CM generic set. The p/e cavalinos on the lights came from the S27 set.

What colour did you use on the body, metallic parts seem to be a little bit coarse, but those digi cams let them appear even bigger.
Grigio Ferro 106-E-8 (metallic graphite?) was my color choice.

I had been hoping to use Cobra Colors or some other original mix automotive paint but unfortunately CC was not available to me in Europe and other sources were unable to provide it so I went for my second choice supplier - Klutz Kustom Kolorz

I used Gunze Mr. Color Black Metallic and Mr. Color steel and mixed them at about 2:1.5. (these are great paints BTW and dry quickly and hard).

I do tend to agree with you though that the flake, even though exaggerated by the camera, is a touch too large to be perfect. I am still happy with how it looks in person though and since I am my own biggest critic, that's not bad :D

On the wheels, I am still not sure if I made a good choice or not to use the wire rims, but it's the choice I made and I can live with it.

Hey thanks for the engine pics!
I surely looked, and looked the engine pics during the WIP and somethimes again just for inspiration or fun :icon16: I'm just too greddy and wanted to see others.
One question: What's on the windshield? The 1/24 top of the chic the 1/24 dude got with this beauty? It seems like it on some angles :evillol:

That's because it is :D
I found it in the glove compartment when I collected the car from the workshop

At some point during the build, I just couldn't resist it but out of respect to our lady member, I didn't post the photo till now ;)
