Mach V performance

Has anybody dealt with Mach V before? I have a few times a while back. I just want to say that I will never deal with them again. Their customer service sucks. Their products are way overpriced. It takes them forever to send out your parts. They sent me the wrong parts a few times. When they screw up they don't want to deal with it. I ordered stuff and needed it right away, they put the parts on backorder and didn't even tell me until I called them a week later. They tried to blame everything they did wrong on me..:screwy: . When you call them, they try to get an attitude with you and they don't want to help you out until you treat them just as bad as they treat you. I can tell that their customers don't mean much to them.
I just wanted to make a post to vent my frustration with Mach V performance and to see if anyone else has had problems with them. Based on my experience with them they are a terrible company and I wouldn't advise any of you to give them any of your money. :disappoin
I feel better now.

Yeah I hate dealing with people like that. They seem a bit over priced on a lot of stuff though so I dont really look at their website. I usually stick to RRE and Extreme PSI. They seem to be the best priced and both have had really good customer service.

I haven't dealt with them in a few years, but they were good back then. Aside from prices. Now I mostly stick to the "old school" vendors, Buschur, RRE, etc.

I guess maybe I'm the only person to have any problems with them. But yea I have bought from Extremepsi a few times and they are pretty cool. The Cardomain store is extremely cool also, I'm not sure if any of you have messed with them before. Dsmparts.com are good also. I like Summitracing too.

Yeah man i bought the first few mods for my car from machv. The 1g BOV (which was my fault for not shopping around) was way overpriced, and took forever to get to me. The symbroski kit came with no problems. Usually it doesnt matter who i order from im always making a trip to the parts store when it gets here. My neighbor refuses to deal with slowboy anymore cuz they screwed him over on his wastegate actuator for his scm61 and basically made him pay for 2 and the shipping. I guess every company has its moments but it really sucks when u offer them good business but they dont offer good support.

I agree....I think the support is really the best thing. RRE has got to be the best service and support that I have gotten from any vendor on anything.

John Shepherd takes the cake on service and support. Since he only lives like 45 minutes from me, I took my tranny to his place and talked with him about it and everything. He took and showed me everything that originally broke in my last tranny and explained a lot of stuff to me that he didn't even need to. Most vendors/businesses would never take the time to do something like that. He is my hero. lol

John's service is ridiculous, it's impossible to say enough about it. So I won't bother. :)

I went through TRE for my tranny...and that guy treated me very well....I explained to him what happen to my car and he went into very precise detail of how everything works in a tranny....and what causes all the gears to break and what is weak on DSM transmissions...he also gave me real good comunnication when calling him with questions or anything else...I am very happy with my tranny...

TRE really seems to have turned their business around. They used to have 3 month waiting times, no one ever answered the phone, etc. All that seems to be a thing of the past though. Jon (TRE Jon) even stops in EVOm now and again to discuss EVO transmission and Tcase problems, etc.
