do a search on FLOCKING. it will turn up lots of refference and check the "how to" thread, I'm sure there is something in there.

If you want a cheaper option, one of the other guys on here tipped me off to a way... Buy a can of baby wipes, take one out and let it dry completely... Paint it the colour you want with a brush, you can even burnish the wipe a bit with your thumb if you want a tad more shag. It looks pretty good, not quite as good as flocking, but good!

Another easy solution is, for making red or black carpet, you can order a can of SMS Faux Fabrix and it sprays and leaves a texture effect that resembles carpet. It's alot easier than flocking but if youre going for more detail and want to get that carpet feel then go with flocking.

Don't know what kind of spray that would be. If its designed for crafts maybe, but if its used for general things I cant really tell you. Whats the name of the product do you know?

Use flocking - it's the best route, not hard and VERY inexpensive. From one small pack you'll be able to do lots of models. (You can buy it form hiroboy.com or Detailmaster)

IMHO Faux Fabric will look like crap as an interior carpet and is also expensive by comaprison.

If you are interested there is a tutorial in the Tut section that provides an alternative method of applying flocking instead of white glue.

Tons of colors. . .cheap cheap cheap. . . :)

I use any type if paint as an adhesive however, automotive paint dries PDQ. .

Well, I'm through with flocking since I tried the baby wipes thing.

It was a breeze to get it look good enough, at least much better then I can achieve with flocking.

Take a look at my Impala (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=651059&highlight=proosen+impala) and see how it worked out for me
