Garth or George?

Title says it all. Garth Brooks or George Strait? who's your fav? George has been doing it a little longer and is still at it, but Garth had a huge following in the 90's and even today thru his retirement. George has had numerous #1 records, while Garth put on wild shows in the footsteps of Chris LeDoux. Needless to say, both have/had magnificant careers, but which is most amazing? I, too, am voting for Garth. I wish I would've had the opportunity to see him live before his retirement. My favorite song is "the Dance" but other favorites are "Fever" "the River" and "The Red Strokes"....great song if you haven't heard it!!

Garth had some great songs, but George had and still continues to make great songs.

Amarillo By Morning is still one of my favorite songs.

George all the way. 52 or is it 53 #1 songs now. Like TexasF355F1, Amarillo By Morning is my favorite song.

Although Garth is good, George is legendary, right up there with Hank Williams in my opinion. My vote is for George.
