posting this for my little brother. car is a 2000 prelude, 86K miles and auto with tiptronic. he just got it a couple months ago. just a few days ago his CEL light came on and the codes P0700 and Po740, both involving the Trans and TCC. i checked his trans fluid and noticed the color of it was a greenish color? i was under the impression ATF were all red? anyways i told hiom to get a trans fluid and filter change. i told him not to do a flush since i hear bad stories in regards to GM vehicles with higher mileages. anyways, i drove the car to autozone to get the cel read and the car shifted fine in D4. any ideas? im going to search as soon as this thread is posted but any help is greatly appreciated.
also does anyone know where to look for the shift kit for the auto preludes? i understand the stock shifts are too slushy and ppl who put the shift kit on gets better shifts and better times in say at the track, not to mention stiffening the shifts prolongs the tranny correct?
thanks in advance everyonew.
