330 CI Performance Chips

Can anyone tell me any experiences they've had with performance chips, or if you can really tell a difference when using them. Or if you even recommend getting one?

Looking for the same thing as you. I found a couple of Dealers offering these tuning-chips, range in improvement from 11 - 28 (!) hp ONLY with the chip ! Becourse i´m living in Europe (Germany) it would´nt help you that much when i write down the URL´s, or would it ?

After a lot of talking to some "professionals" the majority told me that only modifiing the chip would not increase the power that much. Although it might be felt as so becourse the engine will be responding much faster when you kick down the pedal. I´m maybe planning to make a proper tuning including chip, airfilter, Fan elbow and exhaust. That will add about 38 hP and 60 nM ! You can get a lot of turbine-kits for the 330. Increases power to approx. 259 HP at 6000 U/min and approx. ca. 35 NM at 3200 U/min.
Accelleration 0-100Km/h: ca. 7,2 s (I expect that they mean: 6.2 seconds becourse the "standard-330" already is at 100 km/h after 6,9 seconds.......i´ll ask them by email about this)
Vmax: 251 Km/h
Consumption: 10,8 l. (98 octane) (Calculated at one-third highway, one-third "city-driving" and one-third normal streets outside the city....That´s a very common way to get a value for the consumption here in Germany)

Price: EURO 1022,- (That is nearly the same amount in US-$) including assambly, tax & warranty

You must be ably to get the same stuff where you live....here in Germany i found about 20 dealers just by using simple yahoo/google-search !
