Hello all! first post here! :) Ive seen some black cars that are REALLY nice and REALLY shiny, how do i do get the paint to be so shiny? 2ndly, how hard would it be to say put together a 360sypder tamiya model? i know patience is the key thing here....and also, does tamiya by any chance make ATV models? Thanks!!!!!!!

Welcome to AF
feel free to check out the FAQ (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/t63623.html), it answers a lot of questions that newcomers have.
the 360 spyder shouldn't be too hard for you, give it a shot. :)
and I'm not sure about the ATV

To get a high shine, you need to Primer, Paint and Polish. Chances are, your first model wont look its best, but you will improve.

Practice makes perfect. everyone has their own recipe for a show shine. primer, paint, polish with a couple wet sands inbetween seems to be the most popular. also the best thing you can do to help your modeling is to come to this website for tricks tips and techniques.

My advice is don't build your favorite cars first, build a few cheap kits to get your skills going and develope your technique for painting.:)
