Welcome to AF
That sounds like a nice car!
I would be interested to know of the mods you have done to the slant six.
Given this engine has a relatively long stroke and somewhat small valves, I thought the only way to get 445 hp is by using a hand grenade..........:)
As for chrome......... if the blemishes cannot be polished out, ideally the piece must be stripped, prepared and re-plated, which is a relatively expensive process.

Yup, them little 6s can make some power... In olden times, "hobby stocks" were popular at the smaller curcle tracks. They required a "straight 6", and had a CID limit of 250. The 240 Fords and 225 Dodges dominated.
Clifford research in California knows more about most straight 6s than any other group, the Pontiac OHC 6 being the exception to that. They have SOME stuff for it, but there are Pontiac specialty shops that have more.
Good job!!
Jim

Any chance you could tell us your speed secrets to achieve these astounding power levels out of that engine?

Guess he's making too many coins street racing and doesn't want publicity.
