Hey guys,

I could really use some help here. I'm a 3d modeler, but most of the stuff I've done is sci-fi. And, a friend has asked me to build a 3D model of a 1979 Oldsmobile Cutlass 2-door coupe, but with all of the changes that he wants to make to a similar car that he's rebuilding.

For starters, I can't seem to find any decent schematics or blueprints of the car to use in Max for reference. I managed to find an old Advertising poster from Oldsmobile of the '79 Cutlass, but it's a small image, and will probably distort badly in Max, but, if I have to use it I will.

Secondly, can someone point me in the direction of some good car modeling tutorials? Most of the tutorials I've found just help me to texture the thing, but I'm not that far along yet.

Any help would be appreciated!

Wrong kind of modeling sir, this is a forum for plastic modeling in real life, not on the computer.

As for reference, you might want to try finding schematics of a 78-81 Monte Carlo, Regal, or Grand Prix, as they're the same car anyway. I seem to recall seeing a G-body Monte Carlo 3d schematic online somewhere.
