 Many thanks Gio & Kunta!

Some news...

Body almost done, short view with the wing... I like it, esp the sides of it.
As next Iīll start the stance, I need to get it about 3mm down.
Never did this on a Tamyia kit before, I think it will be fun 8)

Very impressive, just curious how did you get those fenders to that aero design, looks great. Keep up the great project.

Thanks guys, the wheel lips from the kit I didn´t use so far, I borrowed these from Aoshima Racinghart CR set.

The fender came with the kit, 2 parts to add to each side.
At first I cutted out the inner part and replaced it with the resign part.
As next I worked the arch to the old fender.:smokin:

Hi Ilja,

looks good, I like the rear wing being close to the trunk

It loks good!

Where can I buy this transkit?

Risko
06-13-2007, 10:18 AM
Thanks Micha :grinyes:

From Scale Auto Style maybe :)

WIP:

I finished the wheels, made the rear ones 0,75 mm wider with Plastruckt square styrene stripes. These on the second pic on the left.

I lowered the suspension as well, no pics of that so far... To explain how, I removed the holdings for the brake discs and glued them back 1mm higher.
Not realistic, but easy and still working :p

hmmm.. but I think the SAS business is closed now. =/ Look at here. (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/t619264.html) So I think I have to search for it on e-bay or somewhere else. :runaround:

Thanks guys, 253mph, the wheels are painted with AlcladII black and then with AlcladII Chrome.

Allright, this (I hope) will be the final stance, I also fitted a bigger intercooler, Fujimi muffler, the diffusors (the front one is from Aoshima).

Now I see the wide rear wheels fit and the front ones can be steered, so I can continue without worry.

A very nice weekend, all day at home on modelbuilding! :D

Undercarriage done, body painted (yes, I did overwork the fenders), now to the interior.

Sorry, I didn´t like to do pics of progress, so here, that´s how it looks now. It needs some weathering shadows here and there. I´m really happy about my loud, de-cat exhaust system with the Fujimi metal on the end.

With the rear diffusor I was really clumsy to destroy the fresh painted decal, so this is the second try, not from one piece as before...

If there aren't any decals to use, you could try using a masking tape (with an adequate width), cut out the words 'ARC' on it & use it as a masking/spraying template and spray on the ARC words onto your Inter-Cooler.

Yeah, it is a very dark color, but I love these colors, so why always use things for show?

I had an inspiration for many years which had the same MNP paint on it. Thanks Zero paint, now I have build it.
