86 Bronco Starting issue

My 86 Bronco won't start. I turn the key and power comes on and but doesn't start. I can start it by hot wiring or by passing the fiewall selenoid. It won't shift out of park unless I move the rod with needle nose pliers. I got another steering column and now it will shift out of Park but I still have to jump the solenoid. I have replaced the solenoid and the nuetral safety switch. I believe they sold me the wrong switch however I have tried starting it in all gear locations. Please help!!!

A bit more information. The not starting issue was the first problem. I believe I broke something in the column trying to get the thing to start by moving the shifter. By replacing the column I fixed something I broke but I still have the orginal problem of not starting. I believe the problem is somewhere other than the steering column unless the column I picked up has the same issue.

What did you do with the ignition switch? (Plastic/Metal piece inside the steering column housing.)

(The ig switch checks the Neutral Start Switch before firing the Solenoid.)

I have also replaced the ignition switch. Sorry I forgot to mention that.
