I guess that'll be me. Yes, I can totally agree that it is ugly as hell, but that is just me not being a fan of ANY body kit other that stock kits or certain valence kits. That said, it looks like the owner dropped a very pretty dime on that car, that paint is aweful shiney where its not taped and is that a sponsorship sticker up the side there? Anyway, on to the tape. I am suprised none of you all realized what that is. They tape it up like that to keep the paint nice, keep rock dings to a minimum and keep bugs off. Obviously, its a show car. Those super high end show cars will tape up their bumpers and even up on to the hoods and fenders I think when they travel to the next show and when they do time attack etc races. Gotta give him props, hes taking care of his car which is more than we can say for a lot of DSMers out there.

Actually, I just looked it over again. Like Thor said, it appears to be a temporary tape placed on there in order to preserve the fresh paint for a while.

Damn what a waste. When I see cars like that i wonder what(if anything) has been done under the hood. Or if all the money went towards a body kit.

It was an N/T so i'm pretty sure nothing
