I went to start my car today and all I heard was a clicking sound when I tried to crank it. It wasn't the battery because I had power and the cables were tight. I tried a few more times and went inside, I came back out about 15 mins later and it started with some persuasion. Any ideas with the clicking sound? The starter maybe? Please let me know I would appreciate it.

This could be corroded positive battery cables, and it could be the starter or solenoid. First, remove the negative battery cable and then remove the positive cables. You will notice that there are two large positive cables mounted piggyback here. Remove the rubber insulation to expose both cables and check for corrosion between the two. Clean everything with a BRASS bristle brush, and use dielectric grease on all sides before reassembly. If this does not resolve the problem, it may be time for a new starter/solenoid. :uhoh:
