Built straight from the box, sprayed using Tamiya black. Gives it a cool mean look IMO!
Notice the different seats, sprayed in a more subtle black rather than the tan leather.
I love the exhausts on this model, they look so real! The insides were painted using coal black.
I plan to add some UK plates as soon as I get the chance. Wanted to take some photos for you guys before the sun went down!

The first 350Z I saw in the streets was exactly like that. The black looks so wet. Beautiful work Guiddy. Didn't you post progress images awhile back on this kit?

Yeah, but the seats went missing and held it up. After looking through the boxes of all my kits I decided they wouldn't turn up until I finished it using other seats!
...so watch the original ones appear now! I actually like these better though!

Hehe! It is nice to add something to the site. It has grown to an amazing forum in my absence!!!
The paint followed the usual Autoglym compound, 3M Finesse it, Tamiya Modelling wax formula! (In that order!)

So Autoglym is fine on Tamiya paint then? I tried it out on some Mica Blue a while back and it lifted the paint off. Admitedly it was only a couple of days after spraying.

Yeah, i was fine using it, though I did give the paint weeks to dry! It doesn't take long to burn through Tamiya paint so I might have spent more time straight on the 3M Finesse it!

Looks great in black. I've only seen red and pearl white on street-driven Z's, and I'm not crazy about either color. Looks like black is perfect for the body style. I'm hoping to see a kit of the Infiniti G35 coupe, a far sexier variation of the basic Z car.

Just an FYI for anyone looking for a color for the Z, check out the blue... x 350!!

I'm lovin the black...it looks so much better than silver on that car. If it had a scale background, I would swear it was real!
