after market stereo in audi tt?

hey everyone,

i was wondering if anyone has replaced the standard bose reverse magnet subwoofer in the roadster with a bigger better subwoofer in the same location? best buy boasted that they could put a 12" in there, but another person told me that i'd be lucky to get an 8" in there....any suggestions without taking up my entire trunk space?
