car trouble

this is my first post and I am posting here cause I am trying to decide if I should save my car or buy a new one. My pontiac is a 95 and recently when I am am on my brake at a red light, my car stalls. Even after I brake a couple of times and start driving, it stalls. does anyone know the problem?

Does your SES light come on, if it does get codes read.It could be many things.If no SES light it could be a matter of cleaning out EGR , IAC, MAF,check vacuum leaks and more.We need more info.

Had the same problem awhile ago. Check if you hear a loud whistle sound when the engine gets hot. mine ended up that i changed my pvc valve and forgot to put an o-ring on.
