Alrighty, my car (98 GSX) decided it wanted to be cool and toss these codes at me.
P0505 - Which is a idle control malfunction, already fixed this
&
P1698 - Which is some sort or auxillary input auxillary output error or something of so sort.
Now for some background:
One night about a week ago I was driving her home from my girls house when about a block away from my house my car lost power to everything. It still would still idle but if i gave it gas it would die. I managed to baby it home. When I got home I ripped out the Alternator and took it to the auto store the next day to have it checked out. Well it passed the test which leaves me to believe I have a problem with the wiring in the car. The battery is new and so are the plugs. The car will start with a jump, but will lose power as it did before after driving for awhile. I'm stumped and don't have the time to comb the car with my voltmeter. Anyone have any ideas of what could possibly be wrong?
**EDIT** The car will no longer turn over. Tried to jump it and nothing. Any ideas?

Well I've got voltage to my block so something is rubbing somewhere, and since I got an auxillery input output code thrown, I believe its coming from those two wires leading from the battery. I'll examine it closer in the morning.
I'll keep this updated for future refenence.:naughty:
