2nd gear

when i down shift into 2nd as soon as i let go of the gas it pops out...so does anyone know if this is a clutch problem or just the tranny???i have a 4spd i could throw in but i dont wanna do that unless the 5 spd is completely done...any thoughts??????

That would be the tranny (syncros)...if it was the clutch then it would pop out in all gears, not just 2nd.
