1994 pass key

Sometimes my car will turn over sometimes it does nothing is the key bad or is it in the ignition?

Welcome to AF. Kinda short on info here, any clicks? Does the security lite stay on when this happens? Any other electrical symptoms?No clicks--we put in a new starter, you turn the key on and the dash lights come on but the security light does not come on all the time I have seen it once. I wait a bit then try it sometimes it will turn over sometimes I have to wait a couple minutes . It is real speratic it will happen once then not happen again for a week or two.
