98 s10 slipping or missing when hot

I have a 1998 s10 4.3L extended cab. 165.000 miles. after driving for 10 -15 minutes and the engine is hot, from a stop I have what feels like a transmission slip or miss when taking off. after 2-3 it disappears and all is normal. Only from a dead stop does this occur. Hiway driving OK and engines idles fine. Help me!! don't have alot of money

You need to separate the engine miss from a transmission slip.
Any check engine lights?
How is the tune up.
How is the transmission fluid level and fluid?
A engine has to be running good for the transmission to work right.

serviced transmission 10 days ago. fluid levels OK. been a good while since tuneup. engine seems to operate well except for feww seconds on initial acceleration. also in seems to be intermitent. some times will take off fine.

Check engine running and tune up end.
What kind of transmission service? what kind of fluid was used?
A good scanner will show up any engine running and or transmission problems.
Any check engine lights?
