factory anti theft system

well thank you for helping me about the stereo level converter however something happened with my radio and the anti theft system kicked in so i don't have a radio... how can i get my radio to work.. i didn't take it out or snip ne wires but it doesn't work.. will i need to go to a chevy dealer or what... thanks

Im going to guess that you may have disconnected the battery while installing the amp, which on some factory decks will lock the radio. Check the owners manual to see if the code is written down. If not the code is written on the car somewhere, one of the guys here will know where it is.
