i had come to the conclusion that the check engine light on and off was the egr. today I bought one and on the way home .Things I heard about them kept popping up. Like the valve seldom fails and soft carbon deposits collecting. Combined with the fact that any nut involvrd with the exaust scared me, I started thinking. Back in the day I had a football game that vibrated the men ran around from that vibration and any dust just jumped around too. Vibration. Ran right home and asked the wife where the toy chest was. She said forget it and I said it was not for her. In it I found a gag gift from her girlfriends. Two metal coated football shaped things bought the size of a walnut that vibrate like thr dickens. I put one near the intake side and one right on top. While vibrating i ran it up to temp and ran it fast a couple times. The when the car cooled I ran them again while cold for about 20 mins. Drove the car and no more check engine light on and off.
Came on once during steep grade with max air on then right off. Im gonna give er the treatment once a week for a month and see what happens.

For now i'm taking back the new valve and ordering chinese Good Luck

Got creative and got lucky.

Remember to disconnect negative cable for at least 5 minutes before driving because it makes changes to the emissions Drive for ten miles after to reset
the computer to new changes.
I seem to forget the disconnect negative cable step. When I first started it it ran like crud because of that fact Then I took the cable off reset it and drove it and it worked good. Im thinking it might even work on a fuel injecter.

Good Luck
