Question about Delco Radios in Suburbans

Does anyone happen to know the specs of those radios they had in the Suburbans back in the mid-late 90's. I've got a 95 with the Delco Radio that changes volume according to speed, but the CD player just died, I was planning to go aftermarket, but I don't want to overpower the stock speakers because it sounded like a few of them were already on their last legs with the stock radio. Anyone know the wattage, rms, etc or whatever I need to know about the stock radio?

Stock radio usually has 15 wats per speaker, and the stock speakers are a different ohm to handle lower wattage. Stock speakers sound great on an after market unit, for a while, but they will blow. replace the speakers and the head unit, and you will be happy.
