well I'm about to drop a rb25det into my 92 240sx and its the newer neo edition that is upgraded. The webpage says it has 500 hp and unsure on the torque. I just was wondering if someone would know where I could find out what kinda time I would be looking at ahead of time on the quarter. all I want is to hit the 10-11 range and I'll be happy but getting my car to catch traction after the swap is going to be the problem. but does anyone have a clue what it would run or have a friend thats done the swap and ask them what they run?
Thanx

first of all, how much did you pay for your motor? i am sort of questioning whether it has 500hp actually. and how are they unsure how much torque it has? if they found out the hp for sure, they have to find out the torque at the same time. i smell something...

other than that, if you wanna run 10s your gonna need alot more than just a 500hp RB25. get two nawzzzz bottles. two of the big ones.

hmm 500hp thats fighting for traction.. I'm guessing your an average driver..maybe 14's? practice on your launches/shifting.. get some slicks...
A 10 sec car is quite an achievement. Set your goal to a more realistic time first

yeah i bet he puts his 500hp RB in and immediately runs a 14.7 (that is if he doesnt put a rod thru the oil pan on the way to the track).
