Dash Lamp Replacement

Greetings Folks,

Dash Lamp in 90 MGM I/P at 50 MPH position burnt out. May be a 168.

Does one just remove the shroud below the steering column & then try to reach up in back & turn socket to remove lamp...as is done, for example, with '68 dodge Dart????
