Make it Stop! Honda 1997 CR-V odd noise

1997 CRV makes a knocking, tapping, wobbling noise on the left front side. The noise is louder at low to medium speeds, but then goes away. Both front axels, all 4 struts, brakes, and tire balancing has been done. What else should I look at?:banghead:

Wheels bearing or a bad balljoint.

Wouldn't the wheel beering be seen when replacing the axcel and isn't the balljoint apart of the axel...when replaced.

My thoughts so far...replace the wheel berring or get another axel?

Jack the front end of your car up and see if you can move the wheel in any direction. In/out, front/back, side/side, up/down. Any play in a wheel is bad.
