derk, quick comment and question for yah, YOUr PAINT is CHIPPING!!! the interior piece around the vents and radio, is chipped, time to repaint yours!!! And I see you had just the regular cluster with no tach, my buddy has that one too, is it possible to go to the wreckers, rip one out with a tach and plug and play, just plug her in and she will work? Thanks Derk, cars looking good, gimme some more interior pics, im almost done mine.

I know for a fact it works in the 00+ models because I've done it, but I don't know about 99- models.

after... just plug and play. 00+ works too, but what pisses me off is 00+ works on either cavalier or sunfire clusters. Meaning if you have a 00+ cavy you can slap a 00+ sunfire cluster in there and it works plug n play... but 99- that's a negative...

Why not?

sunfire clusters have a different wire harness then the cavalier ones (00+ ones are the same, 99- ones are different)
