Changing Spark Plugs

I have a 2003 v6 eclipse syder and I am going to replace the spark plugs. I was wondering what am i going to need besides the spark plugs and wires. I was wondering what gaskets do i need?? My mechanic said that the spark plugs and spark plug wires need to be from the dealer? is that true?

IDK why you'd need to change tour wires to. Unless theres somthing wrong with the wires, or your upgrading you dont NEED to change them.
As for sparkplugs, you can buy whatever ones you want, you just need to make sure they fit your engine. There should be a book with a list of what plug fits your engine around the same area the plugs are. I try to avoid the STEALership as much as posable.
